Parallelization with MPI

Parallel programming never gets out of style and a basic understanding of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) is essential for most users of HPC systems, especially for those who write or contribute to scientific software. We'll start from beginners level and hands-on labs will allow to immediately test and understand the basic MPI constructs, participants can choose between C, Fortran, and Python.

Students (of TU Wien and of other Austrian universities via a co-registration) can earn ECTS for VSC-School I.

Grab one of the last seats for in-person participation and there are enough places for online participation to accommodate everyone.

Registration deadline is 11 November 2024.
