Dear VSC users and friends, together with NVIDIA and OpenACC organization a group of NCCs (Austria, Czechia, Germany, Montenegro, Poland, Slovenia, and Sweden) is organizing a couple of Bootcamps for the European HPC and AI user community - the applications deadline for the first event is already 10 March 2025: N-Ways to GPU Programming Bootcamp 8-9 April 2025, 09:00-16:00 CEST, online https://events.vsc.ac.at/e/N-Ways-GPU-2025-04 Explore four different GPU programming models in just one and a half days. The N-Ways to GPU Programming Bootcamp covers the basics of GPU programming and provides an overview of different methods for porting scientific applications to GPUs using NVIDIA CUDA, OpenACC and OpenMP offloading, and standard languages (C/C++ and Fortran). Throughout the bootcamp, attendees with teaching assistants on hand will explore multiple GPU programming models, learn how to analyze GPU-enabled applications using NVIDIA Nsight Systems, and participate in hands-on activities to apply these learned skills to real-world problems. The lectures will be given by Paul Graham from NVIDIA and teaching assistants from the organizing NCCs will help you with the hands-on labs done on one of their supercomputers. The bootcamp is open to all coming from institutions in EU and/or EuroHPC JU countries and welcomes participants from academia, industry, and public administration.
